Welcome to the land of sailors



You'll discover the east coast facing the mainland. This coast is typical of the Vendée, with large sandy beaches covering a large part of the coast. Sheltered from the westerly winds, you'll find the famous Plage des Conches on this coast.
The west coast is much more Breton. Large plains allow you to admire the sea and the horizon. The rocky coastline protects magnificent beaches and coves. Its sumptuous beaches are renowned for the quality of their sand and bathing.

We can confirm that Yeu Island enjoys a microclimate. The sun is very present on the island, with 2,330 hours of sunshine a year (almost identical to Montélimar).
All 4 seasons benefit from this mild oceanic climate. In summer, the effects of heatwaves are mitigated by the temperature of the ocean surrounding the island, while in winter temperatures are mild.

On Yeu Island, the average temperature in February is 8.1°, rising to 18.7° in August. Thanks to this microclimate, we're spared the extreme cold and various heatwaves.
